MPhil Systematic and Historical Theology
Having moved from the States to Scotland to study Theology, I found that my interests reside less in academic work and more in the care of people. Having completed my MPhil in Theology from St. Andrews, I began working for a Youth Work charity aimed at offering adventure, relationship and meaning to teenagers in North East Fife.
After years of chaplaincy work and working with teens and uni students through their own life and mental health struggles, I found myself searching for more resources to support individuals looking for meaning and hope in the middle of life’s hardships. In 2022 I began training in pluralistic counselling at Abertay University.
I am drawn mostly to existential schools of counselling and strive to support clients to understand their own agency in life, and to help them draw meaning from their life experiences and struggles.
